QueTube is a web application that solves my problems when using YouTube. YouTube doesn't understand what I like at all, and serves me what its algorithm wants. Thanks to QueTube I have an overview of videos I actually want to watch, I can take notes, search, track progress. And I also added smart AI features that YouTube doesn't even dream of yet.

What Is It For?
There are many educational videos on YouTube, but also a lot of content with extremely low value. Ads, clickbait, outdated and misleading opinions... QueTube helps me filter this content. It saves me time and reduces the overwhelm from the enormous amount of content.
QueTube has no ads, no comments from strangers, no Shorts, and no other distractions. Instead, it's equipped with notes, sorting, search, and most importantly, the Clickbait Checker function. It can analyze video content from the transcript and answer the question of whether the video has value. QueTube also prepares a summary of key points from each video.
And when something isn't clear to me, I connected a chat with ChatGPT, so I can discuss it directly with artificial intelligence.
What Did I Learn?
QueTube taught me a lot about UX design consistency and security. I practiced connecting ChatGPT API keys and storing them securely. I also learned new APIs for downloading data from YouTube.
