About the project
The LinkedIn feed is full of ads, both the labeled ones and the ones just posing as content. I wrote a Chrome extension that throws them out and leaves me only what I come there for.
It started mainly as an experiment in building a browser extension, but it stuck around because I actually use it. Fewer ads, less FOMO, cleaner browsing.
Why I built it
- I wanted to get hands-on with building an extension.
- It stuck around, I actually use the clean feed.
