Namer: Naming Projects with Domain Checking
Local AI invents names for future projects and checks available domains for them right away.
About the project
When I'm coming up with a name for a new project, I need two things at once: ideas and an available domain. Namer combines both, local AI suggests names and the tool checks domain availability for them right away.
It all runs on my local model, so nothing goes to the cloud. Unlike Doménovač, which only checks the availability of domains you give it, here the AI invents the names itself.
What you get
- Name ideas and available domains at once.
- Generated by local AI, nothing goes to the cloud.
- A complement to Doménovač, which only checks.
How it works (under the hood)
- A local model via Ollama generates the names.
- Domain checks via whois-json.
- Node.js + Express, WebSocket, SQLite.
