QueTube: My Own YouTube Without Distractions
My own YouTube without ads, Shorts, and clickbait, with AI content analysis. These days I'm gradually replacing it with other approaches.
About the project
YouTube serves you content by its own algorithm, not by what you actually want. QueTube is my own layer on top: it strips out ads, Shorts, and comments and adds AI video analysis, a clickbait checker, and notes.
Honestly: I'm gradually replacing this app. I'm on my third major iteration of how to process videos, the amount of low-quality content today is enormous, and I keep looking for a more effective route to what matters.
QueTube was an important step, not the final stop.
What you get
- YouTube without ads, Shorts, and clickbait.
- AI video analysis and notes in one place.
- A step in the search for how to get to what matters.
How it works (under the hood)
- My own layer on top of YouTube (Next.js/React).
- AI analysis and a clickbait checker (OpenAI + Supadata).
- Already on the 3rd iteration, gradually replacing it.
